Visions du Réel

Since 2013, the International Film Festival, Visions du Réel, has renewed its trust in us each year to translate its catalogue and programme and to cover interpreting services during the festival.

Film
The only event of its kind in Switzerland, Visions du Réel is the documentary film festival that attracts film buffs and professionals for 9 days each spring to enjoy world or international premières of a number of bold and singular films from around the world. It is an essential meeting place for film industry professionals and an ideal springboard for talented young filmmakers. 

English - French - German interpreting and translating

We have been working with Visions du Réel since 2013. We translate their press releases and all the content for the programme and catalogue for each new event. These include the film synopses of the films in competition, biographies of the judges and guests of honour, as well as interviews and essays by auteurs, filmmakers and directors.  

Volume: approximately 100,000 words translated each year.

Interlignes is also responsible for either in-person or remote interpreting of the press conferences, ceremonies and master classes over the 9 days of the festival.
